Return and Refund Policy

Aquarium Outlet Pro (“AOP,” “we,” “our”) specializes exclusively in pre-owned and open-box reef-aquarium equipment. Because of the unique nature of second-hand goods, we keep our policy simple, transparent, and fair:

 

14-Day Return Window

You may request a return within 14 calendar days of the delivery date shown on the carrier’s tracking record. After day 14, all sales are considered final.

 

 

Eligibility Requirements

Item must be in the same condition you received it—no additional scratches, missing parts, or signs of misuse.

All original accessories, manuals, and packaging (if provided) must accompany the return.

Consumables (e.g., filter media, reagents) and items sold “for parts or not working” are non-returnable.

 

 

Return Authorization (RMA)

Email aquariumoutletpro@gmail.com with your order number, item description, and photos if damage is involved.

We will respond within one business day with an RMA number and a prepaid shipping label if the return is approved. Unauthorized returns will be refused.

 

 

Shipping Costs & Restocking

If the return is due to our error (e.g., wrong item, DOA), we cover shipping both ways.

For all other returns—including “changed mind” or compatibility issues—you are responsible for return shipping and a 10 % restocking fee to cover inspection, testing, and repackaging.

 

 

Inspection & Refunds

Once received, your item is inspected within 3 business days.

Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method within 5–7 business days after inspection.

Deductions for missing parts, excessive wear, or restocking fees will be detailed in your confirmation email.

 

 

Damaged-in-Transit Claims

Report visible carrier damage within 48 hours of delivery with photos of the box and product. We’ll file the claim and either replace the item (if stock permits) or issue a full refund.
